For the last 10 years, I've been coming a lot to Tokyo and I always spent some time at the Jingu stadium watching the Tokyo Yakult Swallows.
I started from behind the catcher, then move to 1st base, then 3rd base, to realize I want to be part of the real fans, outfield and cheer to support our beloved Swallows.
I’ve created a photo series called “Tokyo Ondo” documenting the passion, rituals, and style of Yakult Swallows supporters at Meiji Jingu Stadium. As a foreigner discovering the culture from the stands, I wanted to capture what makes Tokyo’s baseball scene so visually rich and emotionally powerful.
I’m currently preparing a photo book based on this project.
